When asked: “Why are we in business?” there is one overwhelming feeling (shared by all our management team) – to build a lasting legacy.

It starts with creating opportunities to employ and train our young people in their country of origin.

The youth Plexal Group employs today are the future employees of our children. While the majority of our employees are the most highly skilled available, we also provide opportunities for over 20% of our employees who have less than 4 years’ experience. This includes Graduate Engineers, Trainee Designers and Accounting/Administration staff.

But at what expense does this growth come, and what type of future will I leave my children and grandchildren? We must ensure we conduct our business in an environmentally sustainable manner.

And this legacy must also extend to supporting the wider community through sponsorships and contributions.

Otherwise, it is all for nought.

Our long term business plan includes a Sustainable Energy Division. It is at genesis phase and conceptually we see this new division developing integrated sustainable energy solutions that allows sections of the community to be both contributors and users of the energy grid.
